An Introduction to - YOUR BEST OPTION

1. Do you seek membership until you partner? As MPI membership is until you partner, MPI appraises new applicants personally for 1½ hours or longer before an applicant can join or make any payment. If  you join MPI, it is because you want to and MPI has personally appraised you and feels it can partner you (subject to MPI Code of Conduct).
    
2. MPI offers no "standard" membership. All memberships are "personal consultant" memberships. Andrew has met and appraised each client in Victoria for 2½ hours (some clients take 3 ½ hours to join). Because you deal personally with Andrew the matchmaker who introduces you to dates you can partner with, form a relationship with; and not just one of several consultants, your personal details are kept secure and confidential.
    
3. There are approx 2000 quality single clients, of whom around 800 or so are "active" at any time, with the split being around 1/2 men and 1/2 ladies. Andrew has met every "couple" meeting for a total of 5 hours or longer. Introductions are safer, accountable and the feedback Andrew receives will be given to you in a positive and proactive manner so you can have the opportunity to 'fine tune' your presentation before your next meeting.
    
4. Unlike other agencies, membership with MPI is “Open-ended” until you successfully partner. This is because the right introduction for you is usually the last one. Andrew will continue to offer you introductions until you successfully partner, subject to MPI Code of Conduct – just be pleasant and realistic! (Full info on MPI printed forms). MPI can see no good reason why, on a certain date, a pleasant and realistic unpartnered client's membership should suddenly terminate.
    
5. MPI works with discerning, well spoken, pleasant, well presented, realistic single Victorians 20's to early 70's years of age – usually not men under 29 years of age. People seeking a partner/ a loving relationship, companionship, friendship, marriage. Currently not accepting new female clients over early 60s. Older female clients continue to receive free passive introductions. In fact for all clients, you just need to be
   

   1. pleasant and still active
   2. realistic
   3. not yet dead!

   No one has ever beaten getting old. Many older clients are amongst the most pleasant to deal with . . . a pleasure to deal with indeed. Wouldn't you like to meet a client who proved to be pleasant and so, recommendable?
    
   
6. Andrew is regarded as perhaps the most organised person in the industry, but Andrew is not a psychologist or a counsellor. So  MPI does not take cases where people are not calm or take people with substantial “emotional baggage”. You should be overall/on balance happy and healthy and not a fanatic or extremist of any persuasion. MPI welcomes all from migrant backgrounds.
    
7. Andrew will not give you the common lie about “We’ve got the perfect partner for you”. Please understand that no one is absolutely perfect and people's relationship needs change as they move through life. The same applies to married couples and de-facto couples.
    
8. Applicants receive a 20% discount if join on the first appointment with clear funds (cash, bank cheque, money order), making the net total joining fee under $1000. No credit cards, no debit cards, no EFTPOS. For personal cheques, the applicant needs to come back after 1 week to finish joining up, therefore no 20% discount.
    
9. MPI usually recommend that people who have recently separated wait for at least 6 months before applying to join MPI.
    
10. MPI is not a “marriage bureau”. Many clients go on to marry. As at the time of writing, MPI knows of only one couple who partnered through MPI who has become separated or divorced – maybe because MPI gives you plenty of time and ongoing introductions so you can choose wisely.
     
    
11. Community Service Charity Cases
    Service is free and limited to the first 30 minutes pre-joining interview based on your completed application form. The service is only available to people in need who can demonstrate "needy" to the satisfaction of MPI.
    
    Free charity clients have no profile, no detailed interview, no list of potential options and no live introductions. They should not expect to meet the more successful and therefore more "in demand" clients. Free membership continues as long as the free client meets the matches offered. There is no time limit. No number limit. Membership is subject to the same Code of Conduct as full members. Free charity clients need to be overall attractive and overall realistic.
    
    There is no upgrade or upsell. You will get a copy of your application form and the MPI Code of Conduct but no copy of any client's profile.
